FLV is a streaming video format that is very widely used on a large number of online video sites – websites like youtube, dailymotion, last.fm and many many others.
If you’re anything like me, sometimes you want to rip the video you’ve spent ages looking for to your own computer, so you can keep it just for old times sake and watch it again at your leisure or when friends come round. Whatever. You want to rip a video, and you can’t find a way to do it. I had the same problem a few months back, and search everywhere for software that would let me rip a few videos from youtube. I found all sorts of stuff online, but most of it didn’t work. I also wanted to rip the bbc iplayer video as well, which is near impossible!

Its great when friends come round, we can just play the music video’s through the tv and enjoy them!
I found the Media capture suite of software, and its really good. I haven’t found a single online video or song yet, that I can’t rip, record or download Its so good I had to get 2 more hard drives recently cos I downloaded so much music and video!

I bought the contour abs belt

Rip dvd’s to your ipod easily
Having recently gone travelling for a few months, I was faced with a bit of a problem in that I wanted to take some dvd’s with me to watch along the way on flights/train journeys etc.
I didn’t necessarily want to take a heavy-ish laptop with me, as well as dvd discs, power supplies etc etc, so I decided to just take an ipod touch instead. Problem was how to get the dvd movies onto the ipod without spending years doing it, and without filling the ipod after about 2 movies!
